RMG was engaged to provide structural and civil engineering services for the St Joseph’s College Echuca Stage 2 works.

With a project value of $11.8 million, works included the delivery of the new Specialist Building and Learning Community Building on the existing school site.

The project included the following:

• Design and delivery of new single level Specialist Teaching building. The new building will house a combination of technical and learning laboratory spaces, in addition to student and staff amenities.
• Design and delivery of new single level Learning Community building. The new building will house a combination of classroom spaces, in addition to student and staff amenities. The building also serves as a student hub with cafeteria and breakout spaces for students.

Part of the new school campus, the structural and civil design was considerate of the siting and availability of labour and materials within the local market to execute and deliver the works, whilst maintaining a design that was complimentary to the architectural design intent and wider site constraints.
