RMG was engaged by the Victorian School Building Authority (VSBA) to project manage the construction of a new science wing, extensive refurbishment of the existing Building A, and refurbishment of the existing gymnasium. 

RMG were appointed late in the tender documentation phase, with construction on site commencing in March 2024 and practical completion reached in July 2025. 

The $9.5million construction budget included the following: 

• Refurbishment of existing Hall/Gym and Block A, including fitout of a new food technology teaching space 
• Part demolition of Block A & B 
• Construction of a new Science Block with Biology/General science room (104 sqm), Integrated Science room (52 sqm), Science preparation/storage (18 sqm), student toilets (43 sqm) and associated circulation and maintenance room. 
• Extensive landscaping including DDA ramps and multiple sports courts. 

RMG managed the tender process to appoint the head contractor, and undertook all Superintendent services to deliver the contract on time and on budget.

RMG worked closely with the contractor to monitor and manage the program. The delivery of works ahead of schedule allowed the school to host an expansive and successful 160th anniversary celebration on the exact date that the first class was held on site in 1865.
