RMG were engaged by the Department of Transport to act as project manager and superintendent for major safety and infrastructure upgrades along the Midland Highway.

The program included widening, pavement construction, intersection upgrades and installation of safety barriers. Our role encompassed environmental, cultural heritage and service location approvals and design optimisation management, along with risk and construction management.

The project involved managing numerous contractors and design teams coordinating works from Kay Rd, Cosgrove South to Galls Rd, Nalinga.

Key responsibilities included:
• Program and contractor coordination
• Budget and schedule management
• Quality assurance and compliance reporting
• Stakeholder liaison with DoTP and local authorities
• Risk management and safety oversight

RMG’s approach ensured the efficient sequencing of works, minimised disruption to road users and maintained momentum on a complex, high-volume infrastructure program.
