RMG provided project management services for the upgrade of a key intersection in Melton from a roundabout to traffic lights.
The project involved:
- Removal of the existing roundabout
- Road widening and realignment
- Installation of new traffic signals
- Relocation of underground services (electricity, water, gas and communications)
- New public lighting
- Landscaping works
The upgraded intersection has improved safety and traffic flow for drivers, cyclists and pedestrians supporting a growing community in Melbourne’s west.
