RMG was the project manager for the inspection of over 1,000km of rural roads in the Buloke Shire, following damage from the major 2022 flood event in Victoria.

Our team assessed the extent of the damage, providing reports, recommendations and supporting documents to facilitate an effective recovery process. Works included:

• Experienced team of engineers to undertake inspection works
• Detailed reports with suggested treatments based on Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA) guidelines including standard treatment types
• Input of all defects and suggested treatments into Buloke Shire Council asset management system
• Detailed photos recording evidence of flood damage
• Coordination, correspondence and joint inspections with Department of Transport disaster recovery funding assessor to provide confidence in the damage and subsequent works being claimed
• Assistance with management of recovery works.
