As part of the Victorian Government’s Flood Recovery Program following the October 2022 flood event, RMG provided project management services for pavement rehabilitation of Bendigo-Tennyson Road. The project targeted a 1.6 kilometre section with construction taking place between April and July 2024.

This key regional road serves as an important connection for local communities and freight movement. The road had suffered significant damage due to the flood event, requiring full pavement reconstruction to restore safety and durability.

The works involved excavating and rebuilding the road foundation, reinforcing it with new crushed rock layers, and applying fresh sealing to protect the surface. Additionally, new line markings and guideposts were installed to enhance road safety and visibility.

The completed project has restored a vital transport link, ensuring a safer and more resilient road for all users.
