RMG provided compliance and surveillance inspection services to the Department of Transport and Planning (DoTP) as part of the Glenrowan Bridge upgrade, delivered under the Inland Rail Beveridge to Albury program, which includes upgrades across 262km of rail line at 12 key sites.

The project involved replacing the existing 60 year old bridge with a new, higher structure to allow sufficient clearance for double-stacked freight trains to pass safely. RMG’s role was critical in ensuring Inland Rail works were delivered to the required standards while maintaining the integrity of the state road network.

Leveraging extensive experience from Tranche 1, RMG contributed valuable insight and continuity to help achieve strong compliance outcomes across the project. These upgrades will enhance freight capacity and ensure everyday goods can be delivered faster and more reliably.
