RMG was engaged to deliver civil engineering services for a major safety and infrastructure upgrade along the Midland Highway. This project extends approximately 25km of the regional corridor between Shepparton and Benalla.

The scope of works focused on rehabilitation of the existing road to extend pavement life, integrated with modern safety features. Key features include:

• Road widening
• Overtaking lanes
• Pavement rehabilitation
• Safety barriers

Our team worked closely with Department of Transport & Planning, DEECA, Greater Shepparton City Council and local Landcare groups to ensure the technical design respected the local landscape and minimised vegetation loss.
