RMG has supported the Pyrenees Shire in the delivery of critical flood recovery works following the October 2022 flood event.

After managing immediate reconstruction works at over 300 sites, our civil engineers prepared and submitted certified estimates for a further 320 complex sites under the Disaster Recovery Funding Arrangements (DRFA). Approval was secured for 286 sites, with funding also granted for Betterment works to improve future resilience.

Since March 2025, our Project Management team has coordinated the delivery of these recovery works, supported by our Ballarat civil design team. To date, 139 sites have been completed.

RMG’s team is also managing project documentation and contractor compliance to ensure all works meet DRFA and Council requirements. Six major tenders are planned for delivery in the 2025/26 financial year, including culverts, bridges, roadworks, and fire damage repairs.
