Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre Project

Mercy Education Limited (Catherine McAuley College) – Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre Project

RMG was engaged by Mercy Education Limited (Catherine McAuley College) to Project Manage the construction of the Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre Project.

This project was a significant project for the school as it represents a new era for Catherine McAuley College, ending an era of having portables, to now having contemporary space for learning and teaching, with better resources.

This project represented the first significant step of the school as it embarks on its master plan.

The $10 million project was supported with a $1 million contribution from the Victorian State Government and included the following:

  • 28 new teaching spaces;
  • Incorporation of an interdisciplinary approach to realise STEAM;
  • New drama facilities;
  • New music facilities;
  • New STEM facilities; and
  • Inclusion of Environmental Sustainable Design (ESD).

RMG worked together with Mercy Education to deliver the Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre Project within tight project timeframes.  RMG was able to achieve this by bringing together its specialist Project Managers to provide a holistic approach to realising the Sister Aloysius Martyn Arts Centre.
